Here in the company a constant concern is the environment, that is why all the companies that make up Grupo La Moderna has adopted standards of environmental control, in order to compensate nature by the benefits that it provides us with their raw materials, such is the case of the water treatment plants and dust collectors, as well as the promotion of green areas within and outside the company.

With the mission to maintain and restore forest areas in Mexico, promoting reforestation in benefit of people and the environment, La Moderna has joined to Bimbo through the Civil Association “Reforestemos México”, conducting a project in the Nevado de Toluca, which includes the reforestation of it, installation and maintenance a long term of nurseries.

We are aware of the social responsibility and we have to contribute in the development of the country. Therefore, in addition to timely carry out our tax obligations, is our firm decision to support education through donations and constant promotion of educational and social institutions, Grupo La Moderna has sponsored the Institute of Technology and Superior Studies of Monterrey Campus Toluca and High Lands College.

Likewise, we have collaborated decisively in social work projects such as “Banco de Alimentos Caritas” of Toluca, whose mission is to provide in a decent way, more and better food to more families and charitable institutions that need it.

Currently, La Moderna decided to join the noble cause such is the Teleton, launching different kind of products as a practical and modern lunch box with 6 varieties of its products, in addition to those that are already known, in order to support our Mexican children with different capacities.
